NOTE TO SELF: NEVER use a big freaking noodle in between your legs to cycle/water jog 36 laps in 1hr. 42 mins. again!! YES! I’m so happy and proud of my accomplishment because it’s been a while since I did a mile of anything! However, I now have 2 huge welts on my inner thighs that hurt like hell. I hope they heal soon because I have to workout tomorrow. Ok, here’s the breakdown for yesterday and today:

My niece is so cute, the other day I was feeding her a banana and after every single bite she smiled and said, “Mmmmmm Yummie”! LOL She’s only 16 months and I love the time we spend together! Homegirl can eat and I’m still trying to figure out where it’s all going! I taught her the sign for “more” when she was 10 months and immediately started doing it every time she saw food. So now when she sees food she’ll do the sign for more and say in her cute little voice “more, more”. When she’s with me, I always feed her fresh organic foods and encourage her parents and my mom to give her the best and not the crap we’re use to eating.
Last time I wrote I was beginning my Master Cleanse journey YET AGAIN!! Well after the very 1st day I realized that my mind is just not in it for the Master Cleanser. The longest I’ve been on it was for 3 weeks and I felt great physically and mentally, but for some reason I can’t get my mind to focus on it like I did before. So I’m not going to fight it any more. That very night I decided to just raw food it since that was the direction I was heading after the master Cleanser anyways. I went to the grocery store and purchased close to $45 of fruits and veggies everything being organic except for the strawberries. I got apples, strawberries, bananas, cucumbers, baby carrots, grape tomatoes, baby spinach and baby lettuce mix. I also bought some Bolthouse Farms juices and Simply Orange Grapefruit juice. Friday I ate about 75% raw. I actually had some KFC that night and found it really interesting that the food didn’t taste that great to me after eating fresh fruit all day. Then on Saturday I ate 85% raw… but for dinner I had the Turkey Walnut Cranberry Salad with pita chips and some sweet potato chips. That was sooooo yummy and I guess because everything was organic I didn’t get the same “yucky I think I wanna throw up feeling” I had when I had the KFC. Sunday was Easter and again I ate 85% raw and enjoyed Easter dinner at my mom’s. Dinner was your regular Haitian cuisine: Black rice w/shrimp and beans, avocado, griot (baked pork), fried plantain, beet salad and pasta salad. So yesterday was the first day that I was 100% raw! Yay!! So a person who eats 75% or more of raw/living foods is considered a raw foodist! My goal is to be at least 95% raw for the next 30 days!
Yesterday was Week #3 weigh-in at my gym for the weight loss competition. I was down 1.4 lbs. from last week! So the 1st week of the competition I changed nothing about my diet an hardly exercise and I lost like 8 lbs… which I believe was all water. Then my 2nd week I worked out 3 times for close to 2 hrs. and I transitioned from eating the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) to mostly raw foods. So Week #3 is the first week of me eating 95% or more of raw foods and we’ll see how it goes. Yesterday, I also up the dosage on the Women’s Renew kit to begin the stronger cleanse. Saturday night I started the Yerba Prima Women’s Renew cleaning kit. The last time I did that cleanse was over 3 years ago. I wrote a post about it and the benefits I experienced from it. My cycle started becoming heavy again and the cramps are back so that’s why I decided it was time to do it again. Hopefully my cycle will be light and sort for 3 days so that I can feel comfortable exercising when Mama Nature is visiting! Well I’m heading out soon. I’ll post some more later.

It’s been awhile…. almost 3 months!! Something things have changed and some have stayed the same. I’ve been working on building web pages and I hope to have the new look up for this site. It’s really cool and fun. I was trying to get it up first, but I’ll just do that when I’m done.
Today is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. It’s been a while since I’ve really been to church, but I went this evening to receive my ashes and blessings. This coupled with Oprah’s show today about the Secret and the Law of Attraction really opened this belief in me that things will be different. I truly feel that I will be a happy person and I really see that I will be successful in everything I choose to succeed in my life. I’ve made strong decisions on what my life will be like and I know that all of my goals will be achieved.
