Well, what kept me focus would have to be seeing the rapid results and just the energetic feeling I had while on the cleanse. it felt like I was on this constant high, kinda like the aerobic instructors you see on t.v. all bouncy and happy, happy, happy. Also the mental clarity was amazing. However my downfall, which I'm working on, was the fact that I noticed the quick results. It scared me to see the changes. As I look back on my experience I now realize once others started noticing results I started sabotaging my efforts. Hopefully I answered all of your questions. Much success on your journey! Something always came up and I had to break it usually around day 10/11. The last attempt was may of this year and I was on for 10 days and got off the cleanse when I had to take a weekend trip to NY. I told myself that until I know for sure that I'm mentally ready, I won't start it. I'm starting my cleanse tomorrow and will be cleansing for 30 days. You'll be able to read all about it in the post I'm going to write tonight. As far as using Smart Water, I believe you can use it. You can use pur spring water and filtered water. NO TAP!!
